I've been an occasional segment contributor for On Board Games, was a 3rd chair twice, and got my podcasting start by happenstance on Dice Tower as the Cult of the Old guy. Now doing segments on both old & newer games, as well as some work on Alexa/Echo skills that somewhat resemble games, to help the blind & visually impaired get some fun there. Also I’ve been on a few Inverse Genious episodes with joy, and have made some good friends along the way.

I consider myself a very regular guy, and just want to contribute to bringing a little joy to tables by highlighting some neat games. I consider gaming an excuse to get people to the table to connect, have a few good laughs, intellectual fun, and hopefully develop some real friendships. I also try and advocate as best I can for the blind community in board gaming, at least for awareness for designers & publishers. I'm part of a small but growing international community of blind board gamers that talk about making games accessible as well as developing Alexa skills of real board games translated to Skills for the blind.

I did stats for a living in higher ed, have a great family with 2 college kids & a wonderful wife. Also enjoy music (played rhythm guitar in a garage band eons ago), some sports (played football & soccer (when I had better vision & in better shape), and watching documentaries and other movies, as well as audio-books, mostly sci-fi.
